For this week have a notice about FYP 1 briefing on friday (9 February/3pm-5pm). All student will be briefing about regulations and implementation for FYP course. the attendance compulsory for all FYP student.

Venue: Electronic Section (level 5)

For today, i see the adviser at electronic section (level 5) to give a few ideas projects. the ideas shown as below:

1) Development of Smart Mailbox using IOT
2) Development of Rubbish Bin Using Wifi

I introduce for my first project (Smart Mailbox using IOT) to the adviser. As usual, many people have done to create the smart mailbox using GSM/Bluetooth etc. For this project same as previous degree student using the GSM when the postman put the mail in the mailbox and the GSM will be trigger to send the message for owner. For this project, i still use the GSM system and add the development of system using IOT when to pull out the mail from mailbox. The adviser said the idea project can be proceed, but have a few problem when to pull out the mail from mailbox when the postman send a many mail into the mailbox. So, i need to think the solution how to solve this problem.

The second one project is (Rubbish Bin Using Wifi). Totally my adviser cannot accepted for this project because the item has using the Wifi system and the program is very complicated.
