For this week,i do my research about component that i choose and use in this project.

The features of Arduino Uno and Arduino 101 are same functionality in term of (connector, available peripherals) and zero (32-bits microcontroller, 3.3 IO). But the different both of that are Arduino 101 have combination with BLE and motion sensor gyro on-board. so, i choose this component as related with bluetooth function to connected with smartphone as Iot function to open and close the door mailbox.

This is servo motor TowerPro SG90 can make 180 degree rotation as locking the door of smart mailbox. This torque of servo motor can accommodate weight until 1.80kg.

Micro Limit Touch as a input sensor to detect the mail drop from hole mail. This sensor is very sensitive touch if the mail coming drop from the hole is very light. Furthermore, have another input sensor to use in this project is Ultra Sonic. This sensor also very sensitive and why i doesn't use the Ultra Sonic sensor because must have gap range 3mm to detect the object. Then, the sensor also cannot detect if each other will touch with an object.

GSM module 900A is a component that use for sending the notification to user. The GSM module usually must put the sim card to active the function. In this project, i have two options that want to use GSM or Wifi by sending the notification. Specially the GSM is component very privately and can send the notification in a long range and cheap. The Wifi is better than GSM because the process is same but want to sending in a long range must use the server. To create the server is very expensive.
